PITTSBURG, Calif. (KGO) -- The perception of Black girls being more adult-like is one of the contributing factors to higher rates of harsher punishment in schools. Black girls are disproportionately expelled, suspended, and arrested.

not my problem.
it is their problem alone.
My expectations were the same. If I got in trouble at school, there was even bigger trouble when I got home.
But back then, the expectations of the parents regarding what their kids were being taught didn’t encompass things like social justice, economic justice, systemic racism, America=bad, pro-socialism, pro-communism, transgenderism, homosexuality, pointing fingers and waving a breakfast pastry that looks vaguely like a gun being called ‘gun violence’, and so on.
Not only has there been a lapse in parenting accountability but there has been a tremendous failing in how public schools operate and how they tend to indoctrinate rather than educate.

“...defending herself from a white boy trying to sexually assault her.”
Just one? Need a harder sell.

Yeah, we’re lost as a country in that way. We’ve dumbed education down to nothing.
Pushed Out: How excessive school discipline against Black girls leads to drop out, incarcerationNo problem. The pinheads at Goldman Sachs will be funding the losers with billion$ in no time.
“One possible solution is having a test school for black girls only.”
Pandora’s box here. This will open up every complaint on this topic all over again. Who would you get to teach them as the first thing would be a complaint for lesser qualified teachers doing it from the parents. Forced bussing, causing a loss of revenue to each organization with the split thus less equipment and floor space, and there can’t be the same gender and racial instruction within the curriculums if it is to be a successful transition. So, quality of education, availability, and the opening of the door to biased at all levels, at least in accusation, will be the practice. May not be the way.

There’s a DC comic book called Nubia where a white boy threatens to shoot up a school because a dumpy black girl won’t let him sleep with her. The author is a dumpy black woman so it’s completely her idea that all attractive white men desire her.
After decades of teaching in the ‘hood...I would rather have 30 black boys of color in a class than 2 girls of color. And so it goes.

Expecting minorities to function in a modern civilization is totally raciss.
Quite the fantasy...
Girls and boys of every race... who grow up in a single parent household, mainly mother only, are more likely to perform badly in school, do drugs and become incarcerated...
That is the sad truth they don’t wish to talk about... it just so happens that this scenario is played out in the African American community more than others... and the least being Asian American...
Don’t be smug if you are white... we are making a mad dash to catch up...
Wow, the destruction of the father/mother married family unit has severe consequences... who would of think that?
Agreed. Funny how the leftists take such a firm stand against school vouchers, charter schools, and even private schools being allowed to operate, huh?

Just another lesson in what you can get away with if your not black.
The media loves the hell out of those stories it’s why they make up so many of them.
No father. No mother half the time. Many live with their grandmas or other relatives or pimps or under state care. Vicious cycle generation after generation.
In a previous career, I was the person who assigned juvies to their sentencing facilities. Ooooh wheee, no one wanted to deal with the girls, especially the black girls. Horrid monsters who would just as soon stab you as look at you. Zero self control. Compare that to 99% of the boys who were on their best behavior hoping to get more lenient stays with the state.
Many white/brown/yellow/red/purple/green/orange/etc. kids are raised by single parents and they turn out ok.
Same with Trayvon. He’d been in trouble countless times at school and once again he was merely suspended days before bashing George’s head into the curb. Heck, the school even called in the cops when burglary items were found in his backpack. “That’s ok, kiddo. Nothing to see here. Yeah, you’re just holding that jewelry and stuff for a friend. How about you take a long weekend to think about it. Bye!”
Same with black and white busing. I lived 4 houses from what was supposed to be my high school but wasn’t going to be allowed to go there until senior year. What used to be a nice quiet nothing much happened junior high school turned into a war zone. They had to hire a black asst. principal to deal with the ferals. They installed metal gates in the halls that were locked between periods. Students were locked in their classrooms (yeah, yeah fire codes). Restroom breaks were all but impossible. I had my only coat stolen in a flash, a black guy tried to get all sexual on me the minute the teacher left the room and came this close to being beaten in the stairwell. Needless to say, we were part of the white flight that following summer.
We attended a university graduation recently. There were a lot of black graduates, which is great! But nearly every one had to give a little dance performance on stage which was greeted with a raucous demonstration by their supporters.
Well, the first couple of times this happened, it was slightly amusing. After 40 to 50 of these interruptions, it got to be very irritating and time consuming.
We had black next door neighbors most of the time our kids were growing up in the ‘70s. The fathers were present in the homes and commanded respect from the children. Back then, I heard the parents warn the children numerous times not to “act the fool and embarrass” them. Times have changed. It seems now that a lot of black parents allow and sometimes encourage outrageous behavior.
When I taught spec ed (it’s life skills in woke society), the kids were good. They let the psychos roam free in the “normal” classrooms. Be very, very afraid. I’d tell our kids and their friends to watch out for such ‘n such and run if so-and-so goes nutso. Even discussed safe places to meet away from any situation. And this was a nice quiet conservative school. But there’s always a few mental cases who’s parents refuse to place in facilities.
