Putin's Former Chief of Staff Calls Trump a Champion against New World Order
American Thinker.com ^ | March 7, 2021 | Lynn Corum

Sergey Ivanov, Vladimir Putin's former chief of staff, currently on the Russian Federation Security Council, has weighed in on the "historical scale of the personality and achievements of President Donald Trump" in an op-ed for Eurasia Daily. I have changed not a word of what he has to say. In his national ideology, Putin warns repeatedly of the dangers from the "Transnationalists" (Proekt Rossiya [Project Russia], EKSMO Press, 2014). The Russians are joined by the British with their Brexit and the French with their Front National led by populist Marine Le Pen. Populism actually straddles the Atlantic, and Donald Trump is regarded as its hero.

As Ivanov observes, if Joe Biden, the American Deep State, and the world global elites have called Donald Trump the "worst president in U.S. history," well, it is because they know best who is the worst — for them.

In contrast, those on the Russian side of the world itself correctly see Donald Trump as perhaps the best president in the history of the United States, a "modern George Washington." As Ivanov explains, if the first president of America fought to lay the foundation of the nation and state, the beginning of American freedom, then Trump fought, still fights to preserve the legacy of the founding fathers, to defend freedom, so that in the end, he will not come to be the last truly elected president of the United States. He, like Washington, is of the flesh of his people, 100% American, a classic self-made man, a living embodiment of the American dream. Trump is a successful entrepreneur, a man of action, and a man of his word. He built up America all his life and became its true national leader.

So the Americans he represents are still here. We will figure out a way to harness what we still have, which is the heartland, and the heart, of this country.

One of Marx’s key ideas is that Nationalism is a bad thing. If all the people of a nation band together and all work for the success of the Nation, then society goes in a way that Marx did not want.

What Marx wanted was the Class Struggle. The workers in all the countries join together to overthrow the bourgeoisie in all the countries. No nations. Only classes. And eventually, just the Proletariat.

This is the core of the struggle — and it is why the Marxists insist that National Socialism in Germany was “right-wing”. Anyone who is a Nationalist is an enemy of the Left. Meanwhile, around the world, Nationalists tend to understand each other. Putin and his cronies support Russia. Trump and a few associates support America. Of course. Why wouldn’t they? They aren’t Marxists.

Good points. Bernie is a Bourgeois Socialist. His type is despised in The Communist Manifesto. Uncle Joe and Chairman Mao would’ve put one in the back of his head and kicked him into a shallow grave.

There was a great opportunity for trade between the USA and Russia, but the Chinese would not have any of that.

And the progressives - including Soros - would not, either.

“There was a great opportunity for trade between the USA and Russia...”

For sure, among other things. It’s a shame Trump and Putin couldn’t have gotten together during Trump’s first term. It would have been Superman and Batman working together to benefit both countries plus the entire world.

Yes.

And, I forgot to mentioned Germany - where what’s her name would also NOT have any trade between the USA and Russia.

Oh this guy is full of crap and he was and is no friend of the USA. Sergei Borisovich Ivanov (Russian: Сергей Борисович Иванов) former elite KGB officer, tasked with espionage in Kenya, London and elsewhere against our allies and interests. Educated at the elite KGB school for higher activities. Skilled at co-opting Western interests for the hammer and sickle. If FR is falling in love with these communist types or considering them somehow allies, it’s really jumped the shark in my estimate. They have only Russian interests at heart. These are not American interests.

Can’t wait to see what swamp creatures get mad about this. Even some here. Some simpletons are stuck in the Cold War and are too dull to get this guy said.

At least Trump exposed the traitors in our government. They used to get away with pretending to be patriots. Now they are easy to spot.

Well duh! Isn't that true of every single, non suicidal nation? Looking out for their own interests?

Not when and or if a leader of one nation is in the back pocket of another nation. Such as Marshal Petain of Vichy France. There of course are more modern examples of colored leaders doing others’ bidding. Follow the money. Glad you agree.

You are right of course, that Russia has only their own interests as the US has only its interests.

However, I believe that at this time point in our histories, the US and Russia have a large overlap in their respective interests that is a powerful counter to deep state / NWO (and their useful idiot’s) machinations.
