Suddenly, Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s popularity and power are plummeting. But the fall has been building for months — and the sexual-harassment allegations that he’s so focused on handling (badly) are just the latest stick on the bonfire.
Consider the Emerson College poll findings: Approval of his job performance is down from a stellar 71 percent last April to just 38 percent now, with a full 48 percent of New Yorkers disapproving.
Meanwhile, the Legislature is suddenly but rapidly moving to revoke most of his pandemic-emergency powers as soon as Friday.
He knows he’s in trouble: His extraordinary press conference Wednesday featured little of the bluster and bombast that he used in the past to sidestep reporters’ questions and lawmakers’ demands. But, as we note elsewhere, he still bombed.

If he goes, he is replaced by the lieutenant governor? And will he be any better? Who cares? The malignancy that is Cuomo will be finished.

You’d think the editorial board would know the difference between “pedaled” and “peddled” but you’d be wrong.

The Communist Party of the Soviet Union gained and kept power by lying to their people, to their enemies, and to themselves. It worked until the nuclear power plant in Chernobyl went blooey. Gorbchez later observed that in the aftermath of the Chernobly disaster, the Soviet people figured out that they had been lied to all along. Soon thereafter, the Soviet Union ceased to exist.
The Democrats are following their blueprint, but with social media these days, even with Nazi and Soviet level of repression, the lies have a much shorter half life. Their whole political fantasy will go blooey sooner rather than later.

I can’t say I’m unhappy about this happening to Cuomo. But I do wonder if these old sex harassment allegations were publicized, because someone wants to take him down.

Cuomo behaves in a typical manner. He is a cornuto (cuckold) who did not have the courage to confront the man who seduced his wife or his unfaithful wife in a definitive manner. Such men have no honor and are viewed rightly by other men as agitated wimps. Indeed that is how Cuomo behaves. He bullies who he can especially women. The man has no self respect.

He kills 10,000 (most of whom were likely women):not a word. He makes a few low rent comments to a couple of women: he must be removed!

The election is over, Cuomo’s no longer needed, and whatever faction Biden is a part of now wants to clean out old Clinton supporters.

Cuomo is a loud mouthed punk with a 24 hour police security detail. He’d get his head handed to him in the real world.
He thought he could tweak the system with his ‘’glasnost’’ and ‘’perestroika''. He thought if you could tell a few little truths the people would be satisfied with that and with enough vodka and smokes they'd be cool. He didn't bank of the Russian people figuring out that if it was a truth that if Stalin had been said to have killed thousands, he could have killed hundreds of thousands. And once that was admitted to as truth it was no stretch to realize he killed millions. Once that was known as the truth everything else about the rot of the Soviet system came to light. Dictators always end up too smart for their own good and it is good that, in the end, they are too smart. Dictators are really stupid, ultimately.
A ‘’coronudo’’ is the worst thing you can call an Italian man. You can get killed for doing that.
The Sicilian guys I worked with pronounced it differently, least to my ears they did. They also told me if you ever get tired of living say that to an Italian(or Sicilian) man.
