Everybody here still calls them the Redskins - or just the ‘skins’.
You can take them out of the formal name, but you can’t take them out of the ‘hood.
(And I can’t imagine how compelling this ‘dance team’ is going to be for the fans...)
I think it is a great idea. I do not like watching the Hoes dancing.
I would just call them the name appropriate for their city, “The Reds”
New name looks to me like a placeholder caused by people with no imagination. They had a while to come up with a knew name but haven’t yet.
Will they call the new squad “The Kneelers?”
