Considering my personal taxes went UP after the Trump tax “cut”, this is kind of funny.
Granted, it looks like I won’t be getting anything but oh well
The Trump tax cuts RAISED my taxes due to the $10k cut off on SALT. My state income tax alone was $17k. Another $5k in property taxes. When TurboTax was done, I still have to pay the state another $1200 in state income tax because my wife's income is under taxed after the joint filing. She paid $100 less per month than was owed. I go with Single 0 and it still isn't enough.
Suffice to say, I'm not getting anything but higher tax bills as these federal government money giveaways continue. The currency debasement is draining the purchasing power of my savings.
