Hard to figure how this will play out. The whole Bergdahl business was an embarrassment for the Obiden/Bama administration. Even the MSM allowed a bit of skepticism to creep into their coverage. So should Zhao Bai Din just ignore the whole Bergdahl mess and hopes it goes away, or perhaps issue a pardon or commute the sentence? What will his masters decide?

When I was in the Army (not a combat zone) 30 days was AWOL. Longer than that was desertion. I’m sure that in a combat zone the rules would change and traitor could be added to the charges.
