R’s better get onboard to an MW increase. I’d say counter with $10 and settle at $11 or $12.
Why not a thousand. Why is she so cheap
Other than steal tips from coworkers, what as this dumbass ever done?
Oh boy, I bet the self serve machine makers are champing at the bit over this, eh?
This would be the end of the economy.
Let’s Do It!
$24 it is!
Let’s sit back and watch it burn to the ground. Then, maybe we can open a channel to start teaching economics 101.
Did this woman dare a horse before she got selected to use mouth for liberal agenda
Why don't you start a business and pay your employees 15 to 24 dollars an hour and let us know how that works out for you?
We’re all going to be paying $15 for a loaf of bread soon.
Ask her if all compensation should be capped at $45,000 as well.
She is stupid enough to be elected president.
AOC should set every single wage in the country.
150,000,000 different salaries is an afteenoon’s work.
Then she can get back to cancelling Dr. Suess.
I’d like to see a bird fly down her leftist throat, and choke her. SPJNK.
There are so many issues with the minimum wage but if as a society we agree there should be one, it cannot/should not be the same everywhere. The cost of living varies significantly from place to place. It costs way more to live in NYC then it does in OKC for example.
Bartender to power broker, what do you expect. Put fools iin power and get foolish results.
$10 a gallon milk, a dozen eggs for $7, a loaf of bread for $6, $9 gas and the cheapest big city efficiency apartments will go for north of $2k a month.

Wage slaves are a descendant to agricultural businesses: a landowner procures the land and works the soil, but as the land holdings grows he hires farm hands. Those people work for a set wage regardless of how the business fares...and when things turn south, the jobs fly away.
The "city" way would be for the owner to attract the initial capital. Part of the capital is the people whose skills contribute to the success of the company. Just as people with the cash can buy shares, so can the employees buy shares with their work.
There is precedent: the "bonus pool" for management -- this is a slug of money that is distributed to directors, managers, and select necessary employees so that they are rewarded directly for their efforts. Extend this bonus pool to all employees that contribute directly to the company's success.
"But what about the janitors?" Outside of clean room environments, the cleaning crew can be employed by the cleaning company on the same basis, and contracted by the primary business. Or something like that.
This woman is an insult to bartenders, everywhere.
Well why not $48?
If you want to raise the wages, then make a shortage of workers by making sure they all have jobs.
With a shortage of labor, other companies will raise their wages to attract new workers.
With tens of thousands of illegals now flooding the US, the wages will stay low because the illegals will work off the books in cash for far less than them minimum wage.
