China realizes that the value of its US Dollar reserves and Treasury notes will decline steeply in value if the non productive, inflationary Biden plan is passed. IMHO once it appears to have the votes to pass the Senate, the price of gold will climb steeply. Or put another way, the goons that manage the Chinese national reserves don’t want to inform the Politboro that their holdings are worth 15-20% less compared to one year ago. They will hedge their holdings by converting dollars into gold.
To convert their dollars to gold would require selling dollars and thereby weakening the competitive advantage of the renminbi.
Isn’t this their babe’s (AOC) plan.... Modern monetary theory. When you run out of money, print more. When you run our of that, go to the Monopoly Box and take the money from there?
