Hyatt criticizes CPAC over stage resembling Nazi symbol, ‘hostility’ to employees

Hyatt Hotels distanced itself further from the stage design at the CPAC 2021 conference in Orlando this past weekend, saying it would have scrapped the layout if it knew about its resemblance to a Nazi symbol. The hotel chain also criticized CPAC attendees for the “disrespect” it showed employees who asked them to follow company policy and Orange County law requiring masks because of the pandemic.

In response, CPAC’s attorney issued a letter accusing Hyatt of “slanderous” and “false and malicious claims” and said Hyatt was involved in every step of the design process. A CPAC spokesman also said Hyatt employees in Orlando were grateful for the business of the Conservative Political Action Conference, which drew ex-President Trump and a bevy of top Republican leaders. Despite the dispute, CPAC still hasn’t ruled out holding the event at the Hyatt again, or a possible return to Orlando.

The stage at the Hyatt Regency Orlando, a diamond shape with bent extensions branching off, resembles an Odal rune, a symbol used on some Nazi uniforms. The Nazi symbol was used by white nationalist groups at the Charlottesville protest in 2017.

There is only one problem with the whole fake association of the shape of the stage with the Nazi symbol. If you look closely the stage has a portion that runs along the screen, between the flags. So in reality, not the imagination of some leftists, the stage does not have the same geometry as the Nazi symbol.

Removing part of the stage and claiming that the rest looks like some symbol is just more leftist fakery.

Hyatt Hotels should be careful. Maybe we should all ask why they chose a name for their hotel chain that includes, as its first letters "H" and "H". Exactly the same two letters as the phrase repeated by millions of Nazis as they professed their allegiance to Hitler.

Why would they do such a thing when choosing the name for their business?

One can make a swastika out of a plus sign, "+", and four minus signs, "-" or a multiplication sign, "x" and four minus signs, "-".

Today, I declare that all additive and multiplicative math is supporting Nazism! Also, equations with more minus signs than plus signs and multiplication signs will be more four times more "Nazi-esque" than other equations and therefore deserving of more cancelation.

We must begin the removal of all math equations from our society so that we can all feel "safe".

Of course, this declaration will also have to be cancelled since there are 4 times as many minus signs than plus signs in a swastika, therefore the declaration in of itself is supporting Nazi-ism through it's multiplicative nature and is no longer valid.

I’m surprized they even allowed CPAC to hold the conference there, this year.

This is clearly a case of apophenia or pareidolia. It is a popular method for conspiracy nuts to find symbols where none exist. They seem to ignore the rest of the stage that extend out from the bottom of the ribbons. To create the symbol you have to cut those out of the stage. It is bizarre that Hyatt is so stupid as to go along with this.
