Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill., continued his war of words Tuesday against former President Donald Trump, calling his CPAC speech "boring" and lambasting one of Trump's staunchest supporters, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., as being "smug" during his address to the conservative weekend audience.
"I thought the first time we had heard Donald Trump speak, it would be shocking," Kinzinger told CNN's "New Day" of Trump's address, the first made after he left the White House. "He could have given that speech in September.
"No new ideas," he continued. "To me, it looked like someone that just needed his monthly dose of adoration in front of a crowd. I really was bored."
He also said he really is not worried about his future as a party outsider because he might lose an election, as he will "move on." But he is worried about the direction of the GOP, even if he does think Trump's influence will continue to fade.
"We just do move on from has-beens and from losers and Donald Trump is a loser," Kinzinger said.

I would be shocked if he squeaks out a win next year. He and Cheney need to be removed more than Romney or Flake ever did...
But Trump and Hawley are winners, and you, Kenzinger, are a loser.
Kinzinger is desperate to win the Snotty Little Bitch trophy.

I too used to think that it was boring when the grown-ups talked about grown-up stuff, so I kind of understand where he’s coming from.

Hawley didn’t make a good impression on me, either. Stanford/Yale product, attempting to go native. He may even be a genuine conservative, but I’m not convinced.
Trump however, won in 2020 and would win again in 2024 if he wants it. I have no use for anyone, GOP or otherwise, who has no use for Trump.

Kinzinger should really try to understand and abde by the old saying that it is better to keep one’s mouth shut and let others think him a fool than it is to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.
Hawley asked Wray some good questions today. Wray was uncomfortable and seemed to be lying in his answers.
Then, he’ll be on CNN. He’s probably gunning for that already.
