Rep. Kathleen Rice has become the first New York Democrat in Congress to join mounting calls for Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign after three women accused him of offensive behavior.
"The time has come. The Governor must resign," Rice, a former district attorney, tweeted Monday night.

Rice was once a close ally of Cuomo's. In the 2010 race for state attorney general, Rice was widely believed to be Cuomo's preferred pick for the role, but he ended up endorsing her opponent, Eric Schneiderman, right before the primary. In 2013, Rice was appointed by Cuomo as one of the three-co-chairs of the Moreland Commission to look into public corruption. She stepped down one year later after announcing her run for Congress.
Rice joins a number of Democratic lawmakers from the state's legislature denouncing Cuomo's actions in wake of the third accusation.

So the powers behind the democrat party have given the order: cuuuuomo must go. But don’t rejoice. They will choose his replacement and he/she will be much worse.

There could be 36 women, with videos and witnesses and he will not resign. His arrogance will not permit this. IF He resigns he is DONE in politics. Once the protective shield of office is gone all sorts of things may well come out—He will face lawsuits, retribution and ruin! He is DONE—resign or not—his day is finished and he will take down many as he is pulled into that dark night. Best bet—he should die in a botched robbery, suicide, “accident” or health problem. He needs to be gone least he cause problems for the New York Democratic machine.

Cuomo tried to force himself on a young lady, a complete stranger, at a wedding reception. It could have been worse; at least he didn’t claim the right to prima noctae.
We who read Freerepublic knew about the outrages concerning the nursing home patients in New York way back last spring. Dems are acting like this is all new information. Dems needed to protect Cuomo at all cost through the election. Now they can just throw him under the bus as these women’s accusations come out.
I'm certain he's thought of doing so.
