It's time for news stations to do the responsible thing and stop putting Anthony Fauci on TV. Fauci is the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and advisor to presidents, including President Biden. Few dispute his qualifications. But a year into this pandemic, it's clear that his presence has been a muddling one for the country.
For starters, there are the mistakes. There have been many. And they've been disastrous.

And while we’re at it, let’s get rid of the coronavirus scoreboard show that every single local newscast features every single day.
Anchor and or anchorette solemnly intoning, “There were 21 new virus cases reported yesterday, making the total number of cases MORE THAN 720. Total number of deaths now stands at MORE THAN 30.
It’s not just the tv or video and if you watch the video or not. It’s what happens after. There are currently 26 million news articles on Fauci - most of them are promoting the Fauci line praisin ghim as the infallible scientific genius. If you have a radio you’ll probably get the daily Fauci message at the top of every hour. All of the politicians, boards, teachers and businesses are being infected by Fauci’s quakery. I wish it was as simple as throw away your tv and don’t watch youtube and we are fine.
He’ll have the MLB players wearing TWO jock straps this year.
Think of all the bad things going on in the world—that you _don’t_ know about....
They don’t go away either.
Fauci is just one of those bad things—I know he exists, but I refuse to listen to his insanity and evil.
You’re not the problem. It is the masses that listen to him that are the problem. Fauci needs to get off the tv and retire.

so if we all get rid of our tv’s we can quit wearing masks in public...? who knew....?
So, how did that play out on our trip? I never wore a mask, and he always had his on from the time he left the car until the time he climbed back in. He is inundated with all of those PSA’s about how important masks are. IOW, his intellect tells him they are nonsense, but his “hreat” is being conditioned by TV and he simply feels compelled to wear one. I have no such compulsion.
I wish they woould get that jackass out of the media completely. I am so tired of listening to one of two clowns, the other being Dr. Frank Baric, who was responsible for encouraging tinkering around with the Sars virus that is responsible for Covid 19.
Fraudci
I don’t watch the Fouci youtube videos. I’m fine. So’s my wife. So are ALL of our elderly friends who are remotely healthy, even if they catch Rona. We concern ourselves more with the actual flu that nearly killed my wife and my brother on opposite sides of the country two years ago. :)

You’re missing the point. The point of this article is not who threw away their tv set in 1997 or doesn’t watch youtube. His quackery is still getting out. You may think he is irrelevant and you may be ok. The kids who are still out of school are not fine. The businesses that are closed or restricted because of his dictates are not fine. People being criminalized for their breathing are not fine. etc.
And get rid of the CDC while you’re at it. Talk about no credibility. They should have been prepared for this years ago.
Fauci has become addicted to the media fawning and attention. He needs more and more each day to the point he’s giving multiple interviews daily on even the most absurd platforms.
He’s approaching a mental illness issue. Trump tried to help the guy but he can’t get enough attention and he’s become a laughing stock, a butt of jokes. t’s become an embarrassment for our country not to mention his comments are dangerous.
Oh, I’m WELL aware of that point. It’s why I brought up my friend.
But my solution is one I implemented in 2008, two weeks before Obama was elected. I bought my 32 acres in rural KY and moved out of Seattle. And I finally finished my 30x60 shop/garage/office. 9 acres of “park lawn”, the rest woods, two streams, three natural wells, two hollers and two knobs. My son, when he visited, said it could be a post holocoust compound. I said, exactly.
But until then, it’s beautiful. Oh, and don’t kid yourself. We ARE in a post holocaust world. The fallout is just barely starting. It’s too late to complain. It’s best to just prepare. It’s why it was so important for me, LAST SUMMER, to drive from my home to Seattle to get my dad’s guns (he passed last summer) and thousands of rounds of ammo. That was really the last item on the checklist.
Off TV? Sending him to Gitmo would be even better.
