EUGENE, OR – Online chatter that has been ongoing on Twitter throughout February showcases that Antifa-inspired anarchist groups are planning demonstrations for March 6th in Eugene, Oregon – and possibly in other locations as well.

A number of self-proclaimed anti-capitalist/anarchist groups are coordinating “a workshop in radical organization and action,” and “march” on March 6th that is purportedly going to amass at Monroe Park at 3:00 p.m.

Then attendees will “bloc up and march,” at 6:30 p.m. that same evening.

I wonder what they mean by "workshop"? I'm reading Andy Ngo's book on Antifa and BLM, and they do indeed hold trainings and workshops on a variety of topics, but these are done in private only, with small groups of initiates, sometimes in private by the new recruit studying by himself. So I'm not sure why they are calling this a workshop. Maybe that just refers to some speechifying.

Since this rally and march is being planned by groups with a long history of violence, rioting, and looting, I’m sure the FBI and National Guard will be deployed in large numbers to assist local police in crowd control, and all attendees will be closely monitored for any signs of illegal behavior. /s
