Accounts of atrocities by Ethiopian forces against residents of the country’s northwestern region of Tigray were detailed in reports by The Associated Press and by Amnesty International. Ethiopia’s central government and regional officials in Tigray both believe that each other’s governments are illegitimate after the pandemic disrupted elections.
Those responsible for abuses in Tigray must be held accountable, Blinken added, calling for an independent, international investigation into the reports of human rights violations.
Alarm is growing over the fate of the Tigray region’s 6 million people as fighting is reportedly as fierce as ever between Ethiopian and allied forces and those supporting the now-fugitive Tigray leaders who once dominated Ethiopia’s government.

There are human rights abuses right here in the USA. People are being persecuted for their political beliefs. People are being beaten and killed by mobs unleashed by the left wing junta. There is ethnic discrimination against one race of citizens. We should clean up in our own back yard.
Ethiopia’s human rights atrocities takes precedence over current American human rights atrocities. Ok. Got it.

Millions in Texas trying to recover from a devastating freak ice storm. I’m still rebuilding the plumbing. Actually can’t do a lot because of light rain, I’d stay soaking wet. And took 3 days just to find a half dozen parts. 1st Monday, nobody had pvc parts or pipe. All parts wiped out.

And biden is worried about someone halfway around the world.

Biden has a 50 year record in public service of being on the wrong side in every single foreign policy issues over half a century. He’s not going to break his record of consistency now.
