Businesses across the US are accepting cash only as their credit-card payments systems are down. Customers on Twitter reported outages at Ikea, Forever 21, McDonald's, and Popeyes, along with localities like a car wash and the Department of Motor Vehicles in New Jersey. Representatives from the businesses weren't immediately available for comment Friday. Chick-fil-A's payment machines weren't working earlier in the day, leading it to give out free meals. Miami International Airport put out a statement warning customers of a county-wide outage with credit-card machines inside of taxis. Some blamed payments processor, Fiserv, which is one of the biggest US payments processors. The company didn't immediately respond to Insider. Other major payments providers, Worldpay and Global Payments, did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment on the matter. Down Detector, which tracks outages, reported an increase in problems for people with Visa or Mastercard credit cards. Mastercard spokesperson Seth Eisen told Insider that, "As far as Mastercard is concerned, we're operating normally today." "Visa is aware of a service disruption with a third-party provider, used by some merchants, that is causing internet issues which may have impacted a small number of cardholders today," a spokesperson told Insider. "Visa systems were not impacted."

Local grocery chain here is down, downdetector indicates it is spreading.
I cannot process Friday’s books to closeout the week either.
They’re actually re-setting things I suspect to usher in the One world financial system one day....
So they’re blaming it on a third party.
Debit wouldn’t have mattered. It is the processor, not the particular card.
My Visa debit card failed. Not declined, it just timed out.
