For all the decades I've been alive, I never realized that my whiteness was a problem for the rest of society. I'm one of those people who merely gets up every day, brushes his teeth, gets dressed, eats a decent breakfast, and goes to work.
I had no idea that in the U.S. and other western nations white people like me had been “socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white.” Gosh, how naive I have been all these years!
Of late, I’ve learned that to be "less white" is a virtue! It requires one to be "less oppressive, less arrogant, less certain, less defensive, less ignorant," and, more humble, more willing to listen, more willing to believe, and, get this, "to break with the apathy" that white people like me exhibit and "to break with white solidarity."
Enlightened Author and Woke Institutions
White solidarity? Gosh, nobody told me about this, but now it's all become so clear thanks to enlightened (white) authors like Robin DiAngelo, who wrote the (thoroughly racist and condescending book) White Fragility, and thanks to companies such as Coca-Cola which have the foresight to impose programs for its white employees, to be less white.

Just ask yourself, if you complained about "Blackism", wouldn't they call you a Racist?
Absolutely!
So call them on it, they are in the wrong.
Most Italian-Americans, Greek-Americans, Polish-Americans and other Eastern European Americans are descended from immigrants who came to America in the last years of the 19th century or the first two decades of the 20th (before the immigration laws of 1921 and 1923 were designed to keep people like them out). They weren’t considered “white” even if they looked white. Finally after WWII when the Italians, Poles and others were finally working their way into the middle class, they became part of the oppressors who magically shared in the blame for the wrongs done by WASPs to black Americans.
This whole argument is identical to the one where atheists suddenly become experts on Christianity - never having BEEN a Christian, nor even looked into it for more than 10 minutes...
It’s a cop out.
“..my problems and failings CAN’T be MY fault... let’s blame those OTHER people over there... They APPEAR to have everything going for them... I’ll ASSUME they had it handed to them...”
The funniest thing of all is: I don’t remember being given a choice of skin pigmentation before I was born. Anyone else?
Psychotic obsession with race..or in this case..whitey.
We wuz Kangs and didn’t know it, cuz we wuz whiteboys!
I believe the longer this whiteness crap goes on the more racists it creates.
Robin DiAngelo needs serious professional help.
I’m proud of being a honkey! 95% of all things the world was, use or touch was invented by my race. Yes you are welcome!
In a manner of speaking, there is a substantial portion of the population that is oppressed by the author’s, and those of his ilk, lifestyle and actions.
The author works hard everyday, pays taxes, contributes to the social contract. The oppressed group does not perform those actions nor share in those characteristics. The other group feels entitled to the largesse of the society. The mere mention of not getting a piece of the largesse or earning something through hard work, to them, is oppressive.
I used to work with a fellow who said he was leaving his job to “live off the fat of the land”. Guess to which group this fellow belonged.
We have to understand, this this stems from post-modern marxism at its root- a distorted, godless worldview in which there are two classes: The Oppressed, and the Oppressor. Whites, being the founders of uniquely successful western culture and nations, are by birth and socialization, the Oppressors. Don’t fall for the “be less white” rhetoric. It’s just a baby step with a view toward total replacement in power. The is no way to simply reduce the Oppressor status a little, no room for compromise, no possibility of peaceful coexistence, because Oppressors are born to it. Only the Oppressed see things clearly, and they must remove the Oppressor class entirely. This is not about “equality,” and the Bill or Rights is anathema to this philosophy. The apologists of this worldview understand it; the HR teams in companies like Coke are just useful idiots.
For more, folks should read Timothy Keller’s excellent article and summary of this and other worldviews, including libertarianism, liberalism, and utilitarianism. https://quarterly.gospelinlife.com/a-biblical-critique-of-secular-justice-and-critical-theory/
That right there is considered racist....seriously
I don’t have whiteness (except on my teeth - there’s a toothpaste for that).
When I was a kid I thought White was a color. Then in physics class I found out it is a mixture of all colors. Now as an adult of many moons I am told that it is a mark of racism and that I am expected to bow down in groveling submission and beg for a forgiveness that never comes and will never come until they have expropriated all the belongings of the evil Whites and assured that he becomes extinct like the dodo bird.
Straight Up Cracker,
Word!
Where is my affirmative action? Where is my reparations? Where is my special cut of the pie?
When they start celebrating being white with "White History Month" or the "White Congressional Caucus" then I might start paying attention.
Otherwise, being white is not racist or a crime. Phuque 'em if they can't take a joke. Get a life.
WHERE’S OUR DOUGH JO?! 💰💰
👍
😄
White solidarity? Gosh, nobody told me about this.
It’s not about White solidarity it’s more of a one part inferiority complex one part envy one part hate and most of all propaganda.
Most are happy with the normal way of things.
