The MRE’s were my COVID emergency rations, but you are correct on the dehydrated food. My problem is I haven’t been able to find much online. It seems everyone has the same idea.
Now if I could only find reasonable 9mm, I’d be golden.
Buy direct from Mountain House (preferable but limited stock) or Wise (larger stock on hand, not as good as MH).
Some local retailers/grocery stores may carry long-term food storage stuff (big pails of wheat for example) and you can make your own for staples (sugar, salt, rice, etc).
I have no good answers on the 9mm ammo. Now is definitely not the time to buy ammo and let us both pray we don’t say the same thing about food in the future.
We bought a dehydrator last year and used it a lot preparing veggies from our garden. It works great.
