"Alpha" is any guy who has the qualities which result in him getting female attention without having to work for it.

Beta is any guy who has to provide something in order to get female attention.

If you are in the small percentage of males who can get reasonably attractive women to want to sleep with you, even if they know you are not offering long-term commitment, then you are alpha.

If you are a guy who women will only sleep with in order to get commitment, and then once securely attached to your assets she loses interest in sex, then you are beta.

As a 44 year old man, I find this alpha/beta stuff to be annoying. As far as I am concerned, if women drop their panties every time they see you good for you. If women drop their panties for me even if not at the level of frequency as other men, good for me. If 99.9% of men in general need to “work it” to get women, then dems been the case since time immemorial.

for all of those “Incels” in their 20s frustrated by the mating game, 1) stop crying 2) get your life together and 3) it gets a lot better (and women more interesting) when you get to your 30s. If you are so desperate for sex, there are these ladies called escorts, but your obsession could lead you to bankruptcy. Best bet is to put your energies into something productive, work to make yourself more attractive and then market yourself as the quality product you can become.

That's been my observation too: women are not attracted to guys who are insecure messes. If you want to be more successful, then improve yourself.

I would also add: don't spend your time chasing after somebody who is not interested. Look around and notice when a woman gives an indication that she's interested, and respond. You are more likely to have a happy life by acquiring a woman who loves YOU, even if she's not Playboy centerfold material.
