I don’t know when, but it’s pretty useful when dealing with folks. Alpha=normal guy who isn’t so concerned about ‘feelings’. Beta=every guy below that. Pretty simple.
More like:
"Alpha" is any guy who has the qualities which result in him getting female attention without having to work for it.
Beta is any guy who has to provide something in order to get female attention.
If you are in the small percentage of males who can get reasonably attractive women to want to sleep with you, even if they know you are not offering long-term commitment, then you are alpha.
If you are a guy who women will only sleep with in order to get commitment, and then once securely attached to your assets she loses interest in sex, then you are beta.
