You are physically what your DNA made you.
The idea that you cannot make a weapon to take advantage of that is ludicrous.
If there was for example a “Gay” gene, the world could and would eliminate Homosexuality.
The problem with using genetics to eliminate what YOU find undesirable is the un-intended consequences. So even if a “Gay” gene is identified, it will not be revealed to the general public as would be the case for racial identification, other problems like cancers, and congenital tendencies for physical problems.
See the problems China has with too many men due to the one child policy. Boys are a families “social security”. So they illegally aborted their girls, as boys are a better investment for your old age. Result, a very warped population and whatever problems that will produce.

I heard a DNA biohemist discussing why designer kids (for example) are all but impossible. He used the very simple example of the same gene that causes Sickle Cell Anemia also is the protection against Malaria. If that gene did not exist, Malaria would have no governor and would wipe out whole swaths of people.
And that is one of literally millions of combinations of desirable/undesirable/undetectable genetics.
