The actress, who was recently booted from 'The Mandalorian,' comes from a powerful clan that owns Eldorado Resorts and recently acquired Caesars Entertainment.
“I have only just begun using my voice which is now freer than ever before, and I hope it inspires others to do the same. They can’t cancel us if we don’t let them.” That’s how Gina Carano ended a statement responding to her high-profile ouster from UTA and the Star Wars series The Mandalorian while, at the same time, announcing a new film project.

All of a sudden, I’m reading headlines about Gina Carano, every time I turn around. She’s an actress I never even heard of till last week. Kim Kardashian and Jlo won’t like some other woman stealing the spotlight.
The Caranos are very conservative...own the El Dorado hotel in Reno and are very good people.

Unlike geriatrics like Schwarzenegger and Stallone, women have a short shelf life as Action Heroes, so it’s probably a good time for Gina to move to the next part of her life anyway. Hollywood has a long history of blackballing people, especially conservatives. If she wants payback, I’m not sure making movies will get her that. She needs a platform that can’t be cancelled.

She is fun in a movie. I watched them all. Kind of a female Jason Statham.

Yeah, the mandalorian. I watched it.
Hated it. A merchandising platform for Chinese made baby yoda dolls. A boring plotline and worn out lucasfilm graphics. Littered with tired starwars icons. Cancelled my subscription over how bad it was.
Gina is a minor character but really popular. He action figure was so popular they couldn’t keep it on the shelf. But they made a big deal of pulling it anyway.

When I worked for a nonprofit in Reno, I learned how generous the Caranos were. Although most of the casinos do a lot for the community, but they were always especially generous and low-key, anonymous. Their original casino, Eldorado in Reno, is always my favorite place to stay. Great value on their rooms, wonderful cheap dining, and employees that always greeted you and cheerfully and looked you in the eye when you walked by. Now that they’ve merged with Caesars, they will do a fantastic job in Vegas. By the way, I bought Eldorado shares at $9 when the pandemic began and now they’re trading at $85 a share!
It’s only a matter of time before the cancel culture goes after Caesars because of Gina’s family. Heck, cancel culture will probably go after the Dallas Cowboys and Gil Brandt for drafting quarterback Glenn Carano (Gina’s dad and now Chairman of Caesars) decades ago.
Watch her interview with Ben Shapiro. Very well spoken and has a lot of conservative values.
First thing she can do is run for US Senate out of Nevada.
Great place to stay and dine. Slots are tight, though. I play at the Cal-Neva dive across Virginia St.
