Sen. Thune Equates Primaries Against Republican Senators Who Voted to Convict Trump to Cancel Culture

Senator John Thune (R-SD), a coffee boy for Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), said that Republican voters attempting to punish senators who voted to convict former President Donald Trump during the Senate impeachment trial are engaging in “cancel culture.”

Obviously, this man doesn’t have a clue what cancel culture is. How can we have politicians representing Republicans when they don’t even know what cancel culture is? Nobody is saying they want them silenced, and no one is saying they don’t think they should ever work again. They are simply exercising their Constitutional right to decide who will represent them and their state, and if the majority of Republican voters feel that the seven turncoat GOP Senators who sided with the radical leftist Woke Supremacy mob Democrats to unconstitutionally try a private citizen for something he didn’t do isn’t their top choice then they have the right to let their grievances be heard and there is no better way I can think of to let politicians know they done screwed up than to vote them out of office.

“There was a strong case made,” Thune told the AP about the House impeachment managers’ arguments. “People could come to different conclusions. If we’re going to criticize the media and the left for cancel culture, we can’t be doing that ourselves.”

Not really. The Democrat House impeachment managers lied, they altered documents, and they withheld exculpatory evidence. In fact, legal scholars have said that had they been in a courtroom they not only would have faced disbarment but could have been charged with crimes and faced prison.

Not exactly. These, if they happen, are simply primary challenges. (John Thune defeated Tom Dashle in the 2004 general contest that also reelected George W. Bush.)

“Cancel culture?” Okay, yeah. At the end of the day, I guess that is what elections are all about.

No. Cancel culture is when they refuse to hear your ideas/POV and attempt to ruin your life for having those views. What Thune is talking about is the normal democratic process. When you run for or are in political office, your views and policies ARE what your job is about. Replacing someone who does not reflect their views with someone who does by the voters is how a healthy democracy works.

What this is about is:
A) he’s salty because he realizes that the RINO Establishment’s darling, Nikki Haley is toast. Her political career is over. Done. Finito. She will never be the Republican nomineee.

B) He, along with the rest of the RINO establishment, has looked at the polls and suddenly realized that they represent a tiny minority of the party. The vast majority is with Trump....and they’ve gone miles out of their way to make an enemy of Trump and to alienate his voters. He knows what is going to happen the next time the RINOs have to face the voters in 2 years.

The only way you can get rid of the Thunes is to replace the local and state party officials that put them on the "party-approved" primary list, then kept them in office because it is far easier to keep an incumbent in office than to hustle for a new face that truly wants to represent the people more than be a party lap-dog.

If you want a change, you have to confront the local party in its monthly meetings, every time. It can work. Here in Delaware the TP-backed Christine O'Donnell (click here) pushed RINO Mike Castle off the Republican slate as the nominee for Biden's vacated Senate seat. Though she didn't win because of the oppositional savagery of her own party officials, her victory in the primaries ended Castle's self-aggrandizing political career.

Hope Thune and his "Republican" (in name only) backers suffer the same ignominious defeat in the next go-round, and with a really strong Christian conservative nominee.

Even so, the appointed election officialdom and their tabulating machine suppliers need to be kept under close watch, or we'll lose anyway.

Thune thinks cancel culture is a myth. We need to show him it’s real, first by cancelling him!

For your information, Christine O'Donnell's efffort pave the way for that of Lauren Witzke (click here), the Republican candidate seeking to take the U. S. Senate seat being occupied by the very leftist Yale Theological Seminary graduate Chris Coons (click here), who once in his life was associated with the Republican effort, but switched very far left; in my opinion a Marxist. Lauren put up a very good showing against Coons, but lost due to the overwhelming influence of superabundant absentee ballots credited to the Democrats across the board, as shown below in the table I have taken from the 2020 General Election results in Delaware.

To me, this incredible surplus of absentee ballots for this election looks very fishy to me, considering the good show that the Republicans made regarding the in-person tally for both parties.

Wouldn't you think that perhaps the Democratic dominance of Delaware government has comer from the same kind of rigging that occurred in Pennsylvania and Georgia? I do, but that is just an unproveable opinion. But I think we can look forward to a very strong attempt to cancel the conservative, Christian, and Republican cultures in the mid-Atlantic states. Believe me, if conservatives want to preserve any part of a Constitutional culture, we are going to have to learn to intervene and control this "absentee ballot" staggering deployment by the Democrats and their Antifa, BLM, Marxist, progressive, ballot-manufacturing/counting, and MSM surrogates, or die at the polls. I has to start with one's own family and neighbors, and in the course content demanded from local primary schools, where values are formed in the students.

Check out these results, MM:

They (including Thick-Headed Thune) should be very glad that they don't get what they really deserve.

If he survives the primary, we need to vote for his opponent in the general, like Bush League Republicans do.
