President Joe Biden faces his first major defeat in the Senate as his nominee to lead the Office of Management and Budget Neera Tanden meets Democrat opposition.
Sen. Joe Manchin, (D-WV) announced Friday afternoon that he would oppose Tanden’s confirmation.

Fantastic news. We got TJ Ducklo last week and now Tanden. A cut per week in this fake, fraudulent administration and the damage will start to quickly add up.
Biden is working on Romney, Murkowski, Collins, Burr, Sasse and Toomey. All it takes is one to vote yes saying “The president deserves his choice.”
Every vote is for sale in the Senate. Schumer can even go to McConnell and for the right price McConnell will deliver a one or two GOP votes. It all depends on how badly Biden wants the nominee. This is the game Mitch loves to play.
FINALLY!!
Did you leave out Kennedy deliberately?
At the moment he and Burr are sitting at about the same place in my mind, with the distinction that Kennedy likely wants to be re-elected.
This is pure show biz. Manchin is getting blackmailed over his daughter’s criminal price fixing of Epi-pens. As long as Joe does what Chuckie says she stays out of prison. Chuckie will tell Manchin to vote “wrong” when the Democrat/communists want to make believe something was approved on a bipartisan vote. Joe will NEVER be THE vote that killed a Democrat/communist assault on OUR freedoms. Pierre Delecto will fill in Manchin’s missing vote.
Do you mean Cassidy?
Thinking the same thing. One of those cement-heads will vote w/ biden. Take that to the bank.
I might move to WV just to vote against manchin.
Do you mean Cassidy?
Yes, thank you—why is Cassidy not included?
