Alaska Republican Party officials are looking to former governor and Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin as a potential primary challenger to Sen. Lisa Murkowski, who has drawn their ire for her vote to convict former President Donald Trump in his latest impeachment trial.
Of the seven Republican senators who voted to convict Mr. Trump, Ms. Murkowski is the only one up for reelection in 2022.

she’s erratic. her family life would make better reality tv than that poor little fat girl in GA (who’s name escapes me).
it’s alaska, so anything could happen. but surely there’s a reliable conservative somewhere in alaska that we could run.

her 15 minutes of fame were during the campaign. it started unraveling shortly thereafter.

I think she (M-whatever), not Palin, turned off a BUNCH of voters going against Trump.

Yep. Which tells you something about her appeal, or Alaskan voters. or both.
A quick search shows that she ran with Sean Parnell (Republican) as her Lt. Governor. When she resigned he took over as Governor. And shortly after was elected governor again. Am I missing something?

Truth is tough, but you should kindly accept it.
I really liked Palin as well, and how she was treated was awful. I do, however, think she got to love the cameras and the attention too much. She seemed to get less serious and really fit in well to the reality show mode. I know this won’t be popular, but her kids seemed to be needing more of a mother whose focus was on them. The older ones were riddled with problems at a young age.
I remember when one of her daughters was getting married (the one younger than Bristol) and they had pictures posted at a wedding shower. Some pretty raunchy and immature stuff, with Sarah right in there, yucking it up. She just turned out to be pretty immature....too much wanting to be cool.
