RIP, Rush. We will miss you and in your honor will continue fighting the communists that are trying to destroy our country.
Lord God take this man's soul. Forgive him of his sins. Give him a seat at the table with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
My good friend! RIP Rush.
We’ve experienced many sad days this past year, and to me this is one of the saddest. Rush was a great man who also seemed like a dear friend. There are not many of those among us.
(Also, this song link is for a something that will never be the same again: "The Rush Limbaugh Show Theme Song - My City Was Gone".)
Rush was one of a kind. His pain is over now, and God called him home. RIP.
Our country lost one of the greatest Americans ever. Rest in peace my man. God be with you Rush.
Thank you Rush - you made a difference and opened so many minds.
You saved my sanity often and gave me hope. You will be missed.
God Bless and Godspeed Good Man
Tell my Dad his girls say ‘Hi’ ❤️
This is a very sad moment for America, RIP Rush.
And the left has most likely already making crude remarks.
As soon as I heard Kathryn’s voice for the first time this morning I knew he was gone. My family and I had been praying together for him every day since his diagnosis. May God have mercy on him and grant the repose of his soul.
God Bless Rush Limbaugh. The greatest American of our age and an irreplaceable voice no longer on loan and now at home in Heaven. Rest In Peace Rush the race is finished and job well done sir. We must remember and embrace all that he encouraged us to do as good honest people that love our country and to preserve and protect freedom and liberty. While a great sadness envelopes us now we must carry on and he would want us all to unite and keep fighting the good fight. Never surrender and I pray for Rush and his family and for our nation. God sent us Rush as a voice crying in the wilderness and God gave us a leader in Donald Trump who honored greatly Mr. Limbaugh. God bless Rush Limbaugh.
Another part of what made America great place to live.
RIP, Rush, and thank you.
God rest his soul and give comfort to his friends and family.
An incalculable loss for America. Those shoes will never be filled. RIP, Rush. You were one of the greatest patriots this nation ever produced.
You opened my eyes...thanks Rush.
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
Rush Limbaugh was a revoltionary. He opened millions of eyes to the true destructive nature of liberalism/Marxism.
But oddly, the first thing that came to my mind, upon hearing the heartbreaking news of Rush's death, was the final scene from the movie "Dead Poets Society" (It is one of my all time favorite films).
But then I realized that both the movie, and Rush Limbaugh had been profound influences in my life.
The movie introduced me to the beauty of poetry, and looking at things from different angles, and Rush Limbaugh introduced me to the ideas and principles of freedom, and our Constitution.
He taught me to have a much deeper appreciation for our country than I had before.
But, returning the film clip: It shows students paying tribute to their teacher by stepping onto the tops of their desks, because earlier in the film, he had them stand on top of a desk, in order to "see things from a different perspective."
In closing, I will quote from the person who posted the clip:
The students pay tribute to their teacher "who taught them to think differently, to seize the day (carpe diem), and to stand up for what is right".
These things hold true for me , when I think of the influence of Rush Limbaugh in my life.
Rest in God's peace "Oh Captain my Captain".
