I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
R.I.P Rush, You will be sorely missed. May Jesus comfort your wife, family and millions of followers.
“Limbaugh, I hope the Founding Fathers were lined up at the Pearly Gates to greet you...”
The imagery of your post was truly awesome - and a real tear generator. God Bless
For all time...
I remember the FIRST Time I ever heard Rush. I was splitting wood in my backyard in the winter of 1991 when I tuned my portable radio to the local talk radio station and heard political commentary EXACTLY in line with my own.
Rush confessed his faith in the finished work of the Lord Jesus. He is Home now. All pain and suffering passed.
Very thankful for 30 years of AMERICA FIRST and AMERICA GREATNESS.
We will not see the likes of him again.
RIP brother.
I don’t know about the rest of you, I feel a bit guilty, but it’s very difficult to listen to his show right now...the pain is too fresh.
SALUTE, Sir
A well-timed exit. “Conservative talk radio” will be banned inside of 4 years.
Terrible loss, prayers for his family.
I have been a listener since he began his national radio show. He turned me into a conservative. I will miss him, but know he is sitting at the right hand of our LOrd.
I hope James Golden takes over the show.
Prayers up for Rush and his family. He fought to the very end. Hopefully his media empire will continue with another strong voice or voices.
Yes. With far more grace and dignity than I could ever have mustered under similar circumstances.
He won!....just not on earth!!!
I was out on my deck, shoveling snow when he announced his diagnosis...Today I had just finished doing the deck and was using the snowblower on the driveways when the show started and the news broke.
Sad, sad, sad...
Bfl
LORD, Prepare my heart for this day.
In the end with us Rush glorified God in the fight for what is right and true.
I am happy for him but, mourn greatly for his family and his absence from our ears.
This sad day too...shall pass.
“After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
MATTHEW 25: 19 - 21
Eternal rest grant unto Rush, O Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon him. By the mercy of God may he rest in peace. Amen.
Prayers are up for his family. Rest in Peace Rush, you've earned it.
