I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
I got to listen to rush when he was local here at KFBK 1530 in Sacramento.
I’ve listened to him through it all and he made such an impact on my life.
RIP maha Rushie............
The last few times I heard him he seemed to be holding up well and on top of his game. He went out on top. It is hard to imagine given the seriousness of his illness.
RIP Rush. First heard him in 1988 and will miss hearing him.
Godspeed Rush, thanks for being a true American.
RIP.
My sincere condolences to all the mourners of Rush’s passing. A great individual was lost today.
I put Rush on the top list of patriots. RIP and thanks for the service to America...
My internal clock, trained for about 30 years here on the West Coast, just knows when 9:06 AM occurs.
I don’t know how that part of my day will be without Rush.
His understanding and communication of the political world has been ingrained into me. That part of him will remain.
Yes I am sure the left will be unable to contain its sick hatred of Rush. Likely some lefties on CNN and other networks will be having joyous words of celebration coming out of their mouths, and their hateful attitudes will show through. And I am certain many folks in the middle and center left will suddenly come to a realization of just how sick, and ugly these leftist mouthpieces are. They will be repulsed by what they see and their eyes will be opened. Rush will score another victory even in his death! Rush, I hope to see you one day! Thanks for everything my brother.
Right with you! We all lost a friend we never met!
Thank you for posting the sad news.
Prayers for all, may we reflect on our sinful nature this Ash Wednesday, and be grateful for the gifts of forgiveness and faith.
This is a reminder that we are all temporal. It is a shaking, uncomfortable. I hope one day to meet Mr. Limbaugh in heaven.
Glory be to God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!
In 1988 we had a local liberal talk show host who made me crazy. He was yanked off the air and I heard a new guy was starting so I waited with bated breath. It was Rush! From day 1 I loved him! He agreed with me!!!
Last year when I heard he was sick I wrote him that I was praying, and had been listening from day 1. Several months later I got a package in the mail. It was a note from Rush and Katherine, a picture of Rush getting his medal and 2 tshirts and a jacket. I was so touched by his kindness and generosity. I am a nobody. Not a caller, just a listener to a great mind. He had already given me a great gift for 30 years.
it may happen.
What date was the last show he personally hosted?
Conservatives have had few icons.
Rush was the premiere conservative icon.
We have lost an irreplaceable member of our family.
Rest in Peace, Rush. Enjoy Heaven. They will certainly enjoy you.
Condolences to his immediate family and close friends.
We are heartbroken.
It was the convergence of maturity, real life experience, responsibilty and Critical Thinking all meeting and my thought processes were forever changed. It was light a lightning bolt, very much like when I took Accounting, aka were you see things like you never did before, the stark reality of it.
Thanks big guy for years of laughs and so much more, RIP.
Very sorry for your loss, alstewartfan. And now for all of us who so loved and appreciated Rush. My heart breaks. Was so hoping he’d make it back one more time.
Al Stewart...saw in concert on my PA college campus in 1977. How about “Year of the Cat!” Best sax ever inter/enter...whatever it’s called when that sax comes alive in that song.
Just saw the headline...what sadness grips my heart just now. He was the happiest of warriors. His voice was a large part of my walk upon this earth (second only to the voice of my God). In the words of Tom Cruise’s character, Algren, as he was about to assist the samurai chief, Katsumoto, in ending his life, “I will miss our conversations.” I will miss you, Rush.
My hope is that he trusted in the Lord, relying on Him for salvation.
Don’t read the MSM or social media today. It’s gonna be brutal and godless. Who needs that hate?
Very sad. Prayers for his family.
Terrible news.
He worked right to the very end.
What a great man.
May he Rest In Everlasting Peace.
Much love Rush and many thanks for opening the eyes of so many. You will be greatly missed.
