Wrong, as usual. The governor makes an interim appointment for up to six months, THEN there is a special election.

§ 2621. Vacancy in office of U.S. Senator or Representative

(a) If a vacancy occurs in the office of U.S. Senator or U.S. Representative, the Governor shall call a special election to fill the vacancy. His or her proclamation shall specify a day for the special election and a day for a special primary, pursuant to section 2352 of this title.

(b) The special election shall be held not more than six months from the date the vacancy occurs, except that if the vacancy occurs within six months of a general election, the special election may be held the same day as the general election provided the ballots for the special election are able to be distributed by the deadline set forth in section 2479 of this title. (Added 1977, No. 269 (Adj. Sess.), § 1; amended 2019, No. 67, § 18.)

§ 2622. Interim appointment of U.S. Senator

The Governor may make an interim appointment to fill a vacancy in the office of U.S. Senator, pending the filling of the vacancy by special election. (Added 1977, No. 269 (Adj. Sess.), § 1.)

"May". Not "will".

Reckon we could get KY to recall Mitch? We would help.

No. Senators and Congressmen can't be recalled.

Steve Bannon has too many illusions.

The articles for Biden’s impeachment have already been introduced and tabled.

The person who needs to be impeached, and impeached now, is Harris - for encouraging and funding riots over the summer

That’s an interesting strategy.. and frankly about the only strategy I can see where the GOP doesn’t get demolished in 2022 for their betrayal.

If the congressional elections are purely sold as win to make Trump speaker... then the elections are nationalized and everyone knows they are voting for Trump. Every candidate will be forced to declare support for or against Trump and a further purge of Establishment Globalists.

I don’t know if it can be done, it’s BOLD.

That would be quite a downgrade.

But not unprecedented. One POTUS, John Quincy Adams was a Representatives after being President. Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, became a Senator after the presidency, although he ran twice and lost. William Howard Taft became the Chief Justice of the United States after his presidency. So, like I said, it would not be unprecedented for Trump to run for Congress or Senator.....................

Has that ever been pursued in the Federal courts?

I believe it would be unconstitutional........................

Trump will not run for Congress......He’s an alpha male who needs to lead, not be just a number out of 435.

Hard to tell what team Bannon’s on sometimes,”

Yeah. Pre-election he was loudly “guaranteeing” that PDJT would win the election. “I guarantee.” “Take my word for it.” “Blah blah blah.” He implied that he had some inside info. Then it didn’t happen.

Now he scoffs at “no servers in Italy” (there were), the voting machines aren’t an issue (they are), etc.

But I love his show, and most of his guests are excellent.

“Reckon we could get KY to recall Mitch?”

Sadly, can’t be recalled or impeached.
1. Mitch can be expelled.
2. Mitch can resign.
3. Mitch can to the honorable thing any traitor should do.

Yep. Of course he was originally tossed from the WH for secretly telling the media that Don Jr had committed treason. His funding has come from the questionable Mercers and Miles Gwok and he got the Navy intel and I believe Jesuit(?) connections as well.

He does get great guests. Nothing better than when Peter Navarro is on!

There is no recall of senators & congresscritters. There have been several federal court cases that say its unconstitutional plus one USSC case which implied unconstitutionality. Need a constitutional admendment for recall

Better idea - repeal the 17th amendment !
