Gas wells are being shut-in because they all make salt water and when the tanks fill up because no trucks can haul it off, the party is over. Pipelines are having issues with compressors going down. Just a matter of time before the power plants start having issues.
Neither does a coal fire ... and it provides red dog for drive ways, cinders for winter roads (D’ya MISS ‘em yet?) and lower electric bills with a MASSIVE high paying work force ...
It does, but at crazy low temperatures. Gas is mostly methane, with several other hydrocarbons and whatnot. At STP, most of those freeze between -200F and -300F.
Yes but valves and controls can if not properly engineered or maintained.
