That’s a much simpler and more accurate explanation.
First you decide what you want to do, and then you fabricate some contorted rationalization for the useful idiots.
That’s why the constitution becomes just a useless piece of paper if enough people no longer support what it says.
The constitution either lives within all of us or it’s dead.

The issue was federal minimum wage. Is setting one an enumerated power of the federal government?
What we have is the people who claim the power to conclusively determine federal boundary, are the same ones who have to live by that boundary. Of course they are going to exapand their own boundary while pretending to respect it.
Checks and balances between the branches are not any protection at all. All three branches are in cahoots against the people.
