"Massive non-compliance. Look how few AR owners registered theirs in New York and Connecticut." They are not too worried about that. They can use the laws to collect the guns later when you actually use them for something.

“The Parkland students and so many other young people across the country who have experienced gun violence are carrying forward the history of the American journey. It is a history written by young people in each generation who challenged prevailing dogma to demand a simple truth: we can do better. And we will,” Biden said in a statement.I hate the interns who write Joe's boilerplate pabulum with the heat of a million suns.

I have to agree. The “Conviction Seven” will stand with the GOP on this and many future issues, now that they aren’t “helping Trump”.
It will be a glorious new era of republican unity (mega-sarc)!

It’s worse than that. Notice the part about “all members of the public” below in regards to the database. And there are other elements of the bill that are worse than what you saw in that comment.
H.R. 127: Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act
https://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/117/hr127/text
[Tiny Excerpt:]
“(3)Database
(A)In general
The Attorney General shall establish and maintain a database of all firearms registered pursuant to this subsection.
(B)Access
The Attorney General shall make the contents of the database accessible to all members of the public, all Federal, State, and local law enforcement authorities, all branches of the United States Armed Forces, and all State and local governments, as defined by the Bureau.”

"
But don’t they need 60 votes to do away with the filibuster?"
No, they can do it with a simple majority and have been planning to do so. That's why their propaganda effort from within con$ervative forum$ was $o intense to fool conservatives into avoiding the polls in the Georgia runoff elections.

The executive actions proposed are, of course, illegal. Gun parts, including 80% receivers, do not meet the Federal definition of a firearm, and so are not subject to firearm laws. Period. Even some Federal circuits have noticed that a complete AR lower does not meet the Federal definition of a firearm.

The first laws you will see coming out of the gun control push will be based on income and class. Soon after, more laws will pass against the remainder, easily outnumbered by everyone previously deprived of their Second Amendment rights.
That’s one of the most effective tactics of incrementalism for ushering in socialism under a much more autocratic government. Oligarchs around the world have been putting enormous sums of money into it for a long time. They’re about to put much more into it. They’ve been planning to control much more autocratic and socialist governments.

tagline - American gun owners number more than the top 10 armies combined. What's Biden's enforcement plan?Bingo!
The DemonRats have been pushing gun control for decades.
This is how it has been working out for them.
And in the last two months... (Nov. 2012 and Dec. 2012)
And it continues...
And there is more...
And more...
And yet more...
And more and more and...
We just keep buyin' more...
And we bought more more more...
And more and more and more...
Could it be? More?
More Americans buy more guns...
We just love guns...
Buy a gun, you'll be in Hogg Heaven!
- 'Yuge' March for estimated gun sales April 3, 2018
Applications submitted to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System exceeded 2.7 million last month
—
the busiest March on record and the third highest ranking month since the FBI began keeping track in 1998.
Another month, another record!
- April Sets Gun Sales Record May 7, 2018
The National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) ran 2,233,213 checks in April, according to an FBI document.
That's nearly 90,000 more checks than the previous April record set in 2016.
It also represents the second month in a row to set a record with March seeing 2,767,699 checks.
Will the record breaking ever stop?
Looks like it will never stop.
KEEP FLAPPIN' YOUR LIPS, DEMONRATS! WE'LL BUY MILLIONS MORE. ;-)

Impeach anyone, including Biden, who dares call for the violation of the U.S. Constitution's 2nd Amendment, for it states....
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
The only way that the 2nd Amendment can become irrelevant and non-existent, is by calling for a constitutional convention, and deleting it from the constitution. And, that's never going to happen.

As soon as they go to Chicago and a few other blue cities and collect all the illegal guns I might listen. NOT I will not listen. The USMC shaped my thinking about firearms when I was 17, no way will I go back on that training.
