The executive actions proposed are, of course, illegal. Gun parts, including 80% receivers, do not meet the Federal definition of a firearm, and so are not subject to firearm laws. Period. Even some Federal circuits have noticed that a complete AR lower does not meet the Federal definition of a firearm.
So I would only have to separate the upper from the lower on my .22 LR and I wouldn't have to register? Piffle! I would prefer to have my gun at the ready, once it's properly sighted.
