The Electricity in mainland China is 220 Volts, 50 Hz.

Now a lot depends on whether you trust the building wiring, and how many amps that you pull from the nearest substation.

Chinese wall outlets deliver 10 amps, 15 amps or 20 amps. At 220v, that's the equivalent of a 20 amp US breaker, or a double breaker to deliver the 20 amp at 220 volts.

Great advantage in using standard power outlets, but that is a full overnight charge for a small battery system.

If the power stays on 24/7.

Everywhere I lived in China, other than HK the voltage was 110, not 220.

The primary difference between 50 Hz (Hertz) and 60 Hz (Hertz) is, well, 60Hz is 20% higher in frequency.

For a generator or induction motor pump (in simple terms) it means 1500/3000 RPM or 1800/3600 RPM (for 60Hz). ...

For example with 50 Hz, generator will be running at 3000 rpm against 3600 rpm with 60 Hz.
