Ex-United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley is slamming former President Donald Trump, saying that “we shouldn’t have followed him.”
Her comments came in an interview with Politico conducted after the Capitol riot, but before impeachment proceedings.
“We need to acknowledge he let us down,” she said. “He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
She believes Trump will find “himself further and further isolated.
“I think his business is suffering at this point,” she said. “I think he’s lost any sort of political viability he was going to have. I think he’s lost his social media, which meant the world to him. I mean, I think he’s lost the things that really could have kept him moving.”

Haley let us down when she became one of the first to bail out on the Confederate flag. She is confused. And does she meet the natural-born citizenship test? Not that it would probably matter ever again

I just received a ‘begging for money’ envelope from Haley this week. It was filed in file 13.
If there has been any “letting down” it’s on behalf of Haley and her ilk, the Never Trump acolytes, who were in it under false pretenses, not to advance the Trump agenda but slow it down.
What Trump DIDN’T lose, Nikki, is the gratitude, love and support of over 75 million voters. I think that it is the Republicans like faithless Nikki who “let us down”. You should have defended him and helped him prove the election was stolen from all of us.
I know people like her are only looking out for their own political futures but they better get the huge hint that we will not forget those who betrayed us by their forsaking of President Trump. They are the reason why we will have a miserable four years under the Biden/Harris regime and it will NOT be for the good of our country. I foresee a very good legacy for Trump because we are done with the old go-along to get-along GOP. Next year’s elections are critical.
