I think he’s missing the point. Utah’s permit class was a good class and everyone including Utah residents were smarter for it. What I’m wearing ain’t a toy or a woody enhancer. It’s for my defense. Lot of people carrying smart is good for everyone. IMHO
Good news.
I’m not sure what point he’s missing. IMO, he’s just stating a fact that points to Utah’s willingness to issue permits to out-of-staters. I think the classes are of great value, and I see nothing in his comment that suggests otherwise.

TRUE! He is NOT the solution. He is not even PART of the solution. He is just part of the problem. Politicians gathering unto themselves at our expense. He is no better than a flim-flam man, a con man!
In addition to being just good news in that yet another state has recognized the God-given rights of its citizens, this is further evidence that resistance to the tyranny of the left, and its illegitimately installed junta in DC, must come from the states. And perhaps, the red counties in some blue states.
But the hour is late, and the enemy is on the move. This is no time to merely hope for the best.
Utah Gov Cox is a never Trump RINO, I honestly didn’t think he’d sign this when it came right down to it. I literally just renewed my Utah CCP a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if the state will refund my $25, LOL.

The Mrs. and I spent a few days in SLC this week.
EVERYONE had a mask.
Almost EVERYONE was afraid of touching door handles.
I opened the door of a restaurant (I was inside) when a 50ish woman was trying to use her coat sleeves as ‘gloves’ to grasp the bar. Then her husband tried to do the same — so I opened the door with my bare hands!
The woman asked: “Why did you open the door fo me?”
“Because I’m a MAN,” I replied and left the building.
My advise to SMTG: DON’T be thinking about living in Utah!
NS is right to think about Idaho - we travelled through Idaho on this trip and no-one was wearing masks.
We live in Montana where our new Governor (Gianforte) will sign into law Constitutional Carry this next week.
Yesterday he got rid of the statewide mask mandate.
Don’t rule out Montana, NS.
