I live in Florida. Wife and I are out regularly. They make it sound like people are just dying in the streets, hospitals are overflowing, and lines are forming around city blocks for care. It’s nothing like that.
I live in Florida.
Outside of certain high risk areas, like hospitals, it is almost like we’re free again.
DeSantis has done a pretty good job of balancing the interests I think. He opened things up, let local government take control for the most part and kept the economy growing. But at the same time we’ve done quite well compared to the Blue States when it comes to controlling the virus.
I was in your lovely state for just over a week recently. Love it. We were out and about, shopping, dining, etc.. taking full advantage of being in a free state instead of the tyranny we live under here in Hellinois.
The weather there is much better too!
The fine people of Florida should tell Xiden and his illegitimate administration to go bugger off. Any "travel restrictions" to Florida will NOT sit well with the rest of the country and BTW, if I cannot fly there because of any un-Constitutional "restrictions" I'll get in my gas guzzling SUV and DRIVE THERE just so I can tell Xiden and his tyrannical administration to eat a bag of dicks.
I think the reason is to crash Florida’s economy because Governor DeSantis would be a front runner in the next GOP presidential primary race.
We’re in Fort Lauderdale and my neighbor went to the local emergency room last week. Her husband said she was the only patient there.
We winter in Florida, but our home is in Michigan. There is a sense of normalcy here the we didn’t experience on our last trip home for business. I couldn’t wait to leave Michigan to return to Florida.
The house up north is going on the market this summer (assuming Biden doesn’t screw the real estate market) and we’re moving here full-time. As long as I can fly home to see the grandkids there’s no reason to leave.
