Monday marked three weeks since a Lake Forest man received his second dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, and one day since he got a positive COVID-19 test result.
“Yesterday, I got a phone call from the Orange County Health Department,” Gary Michael said. “They told me that, yes, I’m positive with coronavirus, and they went through my symptoms and the precautions of what I should do as far as quarantine.”
Michael was tested for the virus when he went to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo on Saturday for an unrelated health issue.
“You might be surprised by this man’s story, this patient’s story, I’m not, and it’s not the first one that I’ve heard of,” Dr. Tirso del Junco Jr., chief medical officer of KPC Health, said. “I think I’ve heard of six or seven independent cases over the last three weeks of individuals that have been vaccinated with different timelines that have tested positive, and I think we’re going to continue to see that more and more.”

We ALWAYS knew that the vaccines would not be 100% effective.
Isn’t it 95% effective? That means it is ineffective for 1 out of 20 people.

It was considered 95% effective at the end of 3 months, that’s all that can be said, because that’s all the data they had.
It’s entirely possible that effectiveness lessons over time. Why else do we still wear mask after the shot.

I’ve taken my first injection and due for the second on 3/1. I do it knowing that the best year for effectiveness of the flu vaccine has maybe been 50% so I was skeptical of this vaccine coming out of trials with a 95% effectiveness figure. We shall see what time tells us.

And damn....let families visit their love ones in the homes...It's just wrong. Holding the hand of your mom or dad or sister or brother or even a neighbor goes a long way.
It may also mean that the mrna effect may take 2-3 months to finally build to its maximum immunity. Also let’s see if this person’s Covid infection amounts to more than just a week’s mild misery or if it goes on to kill him.
More reason not to take a vaxx for a disease that has a 99% survival rate, and if you do happen to get it, the immunity is better thsn that of the vaxx.

The reality is a virus like this will mutate and circle the globe forever.
I don’t care if people want the vaccine, it doesn’t bother me one bit.
I do care about the money I have to spend to prove a negative.

No vaccine is 100% effective. The real scientific question is “how many deaths are prevented”? “Testing positive” for the virus is NOT the same as being seriously ill with viral symptoms.

First, the “vaccine” is not a vaccine. If it was a vaccine, you wouldn’t be able to get it and transmit it. It is effectively a suppressant of the virus that reduces the odds of a more serious event. That’s no different than other drugs Invermectin etc, just with a higher chance of side effects. It’s being sold as a vaccine to get people to take it.
