He’s 75. One day retirement must come. I know boomers think they can work till they are a million years old. But all we hear about are 70 and 80 year olds. Good grief. This “boomer” pulled the plug on working 3 years ago when I turned 70. I had planned to work that long and a change of leadership at the head of the organization I worked for, made it an easier departure than I was expecting. I still miss the folks I worked with and supervised.

It’s just as despicable to poach someone’s job for a younger person as it is to poach it for a black, brown, yellow, female, transvestite, gay, lesbian, Muslim or any other grievance group. IOW jobs picks & retention are supposed to be merit based.
