I flew two weeks ago from DC to LA on American and they announced several times that the fine for not wearing a face mask was $30k.

Obviously the metal detectors aren’t sensitive enough to be triggered by metal nose bridges or fasteners on masks.

I was racking up thousands of miles a year on airlines before the ‘rona hit.

Since then we’ve been driving. There is an amazing country out there...not just the nature, but the people. Get out of the cities, and America looks a lot more durable.
