Come on man it’s 2 VERY different countries.
China would be All Over Taiwan if they tried to make or install nukes.
And I’m sure they have plenty of spies there.
And why keep it a secret? Not much of a deterrent that way.
But I’m wrong often so I will be interested in your reply.
I was in import/export decades ago, and Taiwan hated the mainland communists with a passion.
Taiwan could have acquired a handful of nukes decades ago, when China was still too weak, at that point in time, to do anything about it.
I hope I’m right. I’ve hired unconfirmed rumors over the years that Taiwan has them. I certainly don’t know for sure. China might think twice before they initiate an attack.
Israel has been rumored to have 200+ nuclear weapons.
Taiwan and Israel may be two different countries, but they have something in common.....powerful enemies in their respective neighborhoods.
