WASHINGTON (AP) — House Republicans voted overwhelmingly Wednesday to retain Rep. Liz Cheney as their No. 3 leader, rebuffing a rebellion by hard-right conservatives angry after she voted last month to impeach then-President Donald Trump.
The secret 145-61 vote came the same day that Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy ridiculed Democrats for slating a House vote Thursday on removing Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia from her committees. McCarthy’s comment was a signal that he was dismissing bipartisan demands that Greene be punished for her promotion online and embrace of racist and violent views and bizarre conspiracy theories.

I turned my back on the gop back with ghw bush. I’ve never looked back. I’ve NEVER voted democrat in my life. But, there have been an awful lot of republicans I just couldn’t vote for. I don’t vote just to be voting against a democrat. ghw bush, gw bush, mccain, romney... What’s the point of bothering? There’s no difference between these scum and the democrats. Reagan was someone to vote for! Trump was someone to vote for! But the others... just because they have an R by their name doesn’t mean squat to me
Let's call on the very fine Reps who voted to REMOVE the RINO Cheney from her leadership pos to identify themselves.
They do not need to rat on their fellow ... cough, cough ... GOPers.. only to state that THEY voted to send Cheney out of leadership.
Should add up to 61, and all others are thus, completely primariable.
The younger generation have not experienced the entire battered wife syndrome with the GOP as of yet, so they believe there is still hope of changing the party!! Those of us that have watched this BS for decades with the same hope the younger folks have today WE KNOW BETTER!! We have given the Republicans FULL control 3 times in these last decades only to be SCREWED every damn time!! I AM DONE!! The younger generation can pick up the torch HOWEVER GOP loses half of their base those of us that are fed up are REALLY DONE this time!! We are DONE being battered wives!!!
They will be setting a precedent. When the republicans take the house the first order of business will be to vote to remove Swalwell, AOC, Omar etc off committies.
House Republicans should call FOXNews and ask what happens when a group gives the finger to the Republican base once too often...

I’d vote for a primary opponent to Jim Jordan at this point. He could have voted to keep her. How would we know?

Well, I just changed my party affiliation from Republican to ‘no party’ and left a voicemail for Kevin McCarthy telling him why.
I will not support a Republican party that doesn’t support President Trump and who will not work to stop election fraud and who capitulates to the democrats.
I advised him that I am on the lookout for the beginning of the Patriot party, which will overtake the Republicans and put them in 3rd place, where they will lose all of their power. I also told him that if the Republicans will show that they can be constitutional, conservative, and support President Trump, I will be glad to stay with them and give them support. (Fat chance that this will happen.) ((did you ever notice that fat chance and slim chance mean the same thing?? /tangent))
And yes, I know that a 3rd party is a guarantee of losses for the next unknown period of time, but we will lose anyway because of Democrat fraud, so lets use the time to build up a true conservative, constitutional party to eventually destroy the Democrats, and destroy the Republican establishment while we do that.
