So suicide in ranks got one day, “extremism” gets 60 days. Which exactly is killing more troops and vets?

Just to be clear, it’s not a 60 day stand down, it’s one day. Commands will have 60 days to conduct Pentagon mandated training. The 60 days allows them to work within their operational schedule. Non operational commands will shut down and take a full day to conduct training, then another day to get the “stragglers” who missed the first. Operational commands will break it into smaller groups so as to minimize operational impact. All commands will have to report 100% completion within 60 days.

The fact that the suicide stand down was directed on a single day, speaks to a much higher priority for that issue.

It's a 1 day stand down in the next 60 days.

But, I get your point.
