Bill in Congress would require Americans take psych test, get liability insurance, register guns and more to own them

The law, HR 127, if passed and signed into law would, under §932 establish licensing of firearms and ammunition, as well as registration of firearms. This section would require the owner of a firearm to transmit to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, under section (b)(1):

(A) the make, model, and serial number of the firearm, the identity of the owner of the firearm, the date the firearm was acquired by the owner, and where the firearm is or will be stored; and

(B) a notice specifying the identity of any person to whom, and any period of time during which, the firearm will be loaned to the person.

The above information would be required within three months of the effective date of the bill for firearms already owned by that date, and on the date an owner acquires a firearm for any weapons acquired after the effective date.

Here’s the kicker about the above section. Read this carefully:

“The Attorney General shall make the contents of the database accessible to all members of the public [emphasis added], all Federal, State and local law enforcement authorities, all branches of the United States Armed Forces [emphasis added], and all State and local governments, as defined by the Bureau.”

So think about this for a minute. This law would publicize who owns guns, and where they store them. What a windfall for potential criminals…the ability to know who keeps guns in their homes (and by extension who does NOT) and where the guns are stored.

This is like putting a scarlet letter out there for where criminals can acquire guns. Or, where they don’t need to be worried about encountering an armed homeowner.

Secondly, why would the military need to know who has arms? For what purpose?

People with antisocial personality disorder (also having been labeled psychopaths, sociopaths, narcissists,...) don't care. People with such criminal minds (old criminology) refuse to consider consequences as much as mentally healthier people do.

They can be threatened with the future consequences of their actions, but they don't care about the future. They don't care about the Constitution.

In other words, if they can pass the bill, they'll pass it. And Biden will sign it. They will tax and spend enough to force all police organizations enforce it and reward them will more federal pork to state and local governments. The Democrat Party is the criminal party. They want to legalize drugs and other wrongful activities while disarming all potential victims.

We didn't get the vote out. We lose.

I already have and the same goes for the supreme court, if things progress along the same lines for all practical purposes the US finally has bought it and it would take more than the Harlem Globe Trotters to cheer me up.

Some people are really tempting fate here, it is like some one really wants to start a civil war. Its be real however, lets say it did pass, it would be mostly non enforceble, a good chunk of cops would probably quit than go door to door to do this, and the Sheriff’s would ignore it. Also heaven forbid a POC male or female refuses the law enforcement that comes for them and gets shot, thats more race riots to deal with.

Check what database? Where does it say nongun owners have to register as not having guns? Unless you register your guns & yourself, you’re invisible. Unenforceable.

The tactic of SWATing a neighbor with a false report to police has been around for a while.

If widespread gun-snitching does happen, the result will be anarchy complete with revenge killings.

It’s been barely 2 weeks and we see a very clear contrast between two sets of ideas - Trump vs. Biden (aka leftism).

In one hand you have an America that can prosper and be a light to the world, in the other you have a path to poverty and equal misery.

How it isn’t clear for everyone to see is, at this point, is astonishing. That said, I agree, the two become more and more divergent and it cannot last peacefully - and yes, there are those pulling the strings that want it to happen. The left, along with Biden, are just too foolish to see it.
