Why 72 cases would not allow him to submit evidence of irregularities when exactly should show this evidence?

They can say anything, but since there is not a hint of any such action in the Constitution, much less on a simple majority vote, they really can’t go beyond talk.
If that were the case, the Senate, under control of a rival party, could stop any competitor from seeking the presidency.

My common sense advice to Trump:
1) Monday at 8am, file emergency petition to US Supreme Court, seeking a determination on whether it is Constitutional for Congress to prosecute a President who is not in office.
2) As a contingency, request an injunction halting the shampeachment until such time as SCOTUS rules on this essential question.
3) Sit back, relax, and let reality take it’s course.
