Over 99% never end up in the ICU. I know an 85 year old who just had covid. He never went to the hospital.

but you can be sure the family of the Dr who just died in Texas (who had been unable to get the shot for him and his staff)...wishes he had the vax.

Same here-while it is true that this is a rural area-the strangers we are exposed to are the snowbirds inhabiting cabins and RV parks for the Winter-many business owners are over 65-I’m one-nearly all of us have had the Wuhan virus since last March-no one hospitalized, no one dead, everybody back at work in good health in 2-4 weeks weeks-but of course that outcome isn’t as scary and doesn’t excite and terrify the Karens and pearl-clutchers like the anecdotes about the 1-2-or-a-dozen people who got the Wuhan virus just from touching the curtains, doorknob, car seat, etc of someone who had the virus/didn’t wear a mask/didn’t get the vaccine and now they are DEAD! So beware!
I swear that there are people here who get off on the narrative that the sky is falling-the only reason that might be happening is that business owners in blue cities/states are going broke because they can’t open...
Father is obese with congestive heart failure. He had triple bypass surgery thirty years ago. Dad is fine now and says he has had far worse colds.
My sister in her 60's got it. Obese with some other health problems. She didn't even get that sick.
Not that worried for myself. I'm not sure what the BigFing deal is.
