According to reports, President Trump is working with top GOP officials to make a return to the political arena. In an interview Thursday, long-time Trump adviser Corey Lewandowski said the President is actively recruiting candidates for the 2022 elections with plans to hold Democrats and some Republicans accountable.
Lewandowski went on to confirm President Trump has access to hundreds of millions of dollars raised during his campaign last year and he intends to use that money to pull control of government away from Democrats. Allies of Joe Biden are reportedly concerned considering a number of top Trump officials have held on to their positions and may assist the upcoming red wave.
His comments came as President Trump was meeting with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy in South Florida. According to Save America, the President’s leadership PAC, the two discussed the GOP’s efforts to retake control of the House in 2022.
“Republicans are always focused on putting the people first before politics and we will continue to do that work,” stated McCarthy. “In this next Congress, we might not be able to schedule the floor, but we are going to run the floor.”

The GOP is (predictably) right back to its old tricks. They turn conservative before every election. The moment its over they’re right back to giving the Dems whatever they want and ignoring the desires of its voters.
I cannot believe that anyone is gullible enough to trust the GOP ever again after what they did to Trump.

Ya gotta wonder how much cheating has been going on blue (i.e. red) states and for how long.
I grew up in the suburban south side Chicago. By 1st grade I knew dead people voted.
I am hoping Donald Trump maintains a relatively low profile for a while, at least until the beginning of autumn in 2022.
That will be shortly before the Midterm Elections.
Allow the country to start looking, really looking at what the Biden Administration is doing, other than them continuing to blame Trump for their shortcomings.
People are already talking about the breathtaking amount of Executive Orders Biden is stamping out like pre-addressed Valentine Cards.
Cotton doesn’t stand a chance in that match-up.
He had zero support from all leadership levels of government.
He couldn’t just crack a whip, fire a pistol or press a button and command military action.

Perhaps Trump’s biggest mistake was not cleaning house when he came into power. His failure to do that cost him, and us, dearly.
The Swamp didn’t need to be drained; it needed to be bull dozed, cleared and re-developed like one of Trump’s building projects.
If you leave people in positions where they can undermine you they will. Its Management 101.
Getting re-elected will be pointless if he doesn’t intend to destroy the Swamp next time. He either does that or they will destroy him.

I hope this article will at least dampen the 3rd Party enthusiasm. The Freepers who push that idea have their heart in the right place but it is just not the right way to go. Predicting that Trump would continue his successful reform of the GOP as their leader is hardly Rocket Science.
Trump is doing exactly what he should be doing. He is working to kick the losers out of the Party of Lincoln and a good number of loser Dems out of Congress. That will take a few 2-year election cycles but I predict success.
Let start working on a Trump House of Representatives and a Trump Senate in 2022.

I would love to see Trump run for Congress in Florida and then lead the GOP to a majority, after which he replaces Pelosi as speaker.
While I understand the frustration expressed on this thread by many Freeper’s. The fact is, the Republican Party is the MAGA party. Yes, there are Bushies still within the party but, they are slowly fading away. Many are not running again. They have announced this. Many who want to will be Primaried. Several Bush types, have recently won 6 year terms in the Senate but, six years isn’t a lifetime. President Trump’s 75+ million voters are still very much with him. The attempt to make it so he cannot run again is a futile effort.

I think they are starting to realize their base has changed. Big time.

He’ll come back with the help of a very small core of stalwarts in Congress.
And Kevin McCarthy shouldn’t be in that small core. He’s untrustworthy. That’s a nice way of saying he’s a snake.
Agree.. why bother with elections if they’re gong to be rigged and manipulated?
