Just read the complaint. A violation of Title 11 US Code 241. Are you kidding me? If I was the defendant, I wouldn’t even bother hiring an attorney and get this throw out in a New York minute. Admittedly, I know quite a bit about this statute.

“According to the allegations in the complaint, the defendant exploited a social media platform to infringe one the of most basic and sacred rights guaranteed by the Constitution: the right to vote,

For a Democrat.

I remember Pat Paulson ran a fake candidacy for President several times.

He should be arrested, but I’m sure he has voted for democrats every year since he died.

There goes any last shred of credibility the FBI and Justice Department still may have had left. There was rampant illegal voting in the last election (non-residents, non-citizens, too young, dead, etc.) but this is what the FBI is going to focus on. Someone making memes on Twitter.

This stupid complaint is a no-go, especially since it fails to include the name of the candidate; along with a huge number of other problems.

I’d die of embarrassment if I signed this complaint.

Democrats have no shame. Look how long they assaulted Trump and his supporters over things they flat out knew were false like the Russia hoax. Our government is filled with vile and despicable people.

This is the doj president Trump couldn’t get to move in 4 years time. Here they move a case with zero merit in a matter of days.

And people complain about Trump.

Amazing amount of bluster, but of course several weeks ago to
charge this type of thing and far far worse, wasn’t worth our
officials looking into. It was evidence of people being a
threat to the nation.

And I’m was led to believe that 75 million American Citizens
having their votes nullified, was not a problem. I wonder who
charged those lackluster officials with misleading the public
affecting the outcome of an election.

These guys could care less if there’s a massive double
standard these days.

So he blocked entry to the polls? He sent out information that claimed voting dates had changed? He forged affidavits changing registrations or dropping them? He set up fake voting venues? Added fake names to ballots? Was it any or all of these things?

None? Wow so LSD is now legal in D.C. and government workers get it for free.

“What Mackey allegedly did to interfere with this process – by soliciting voters to cast their ballots via text –”

Doesn’t the proposed H.R.1 pretty much call for this?

You are right. The maroons at the district who decided to charge him under this should very soon not be worrying whether to bring their lunch to work.

Said code,

“If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; or

If two or more persons go in disguise on the highway, or on the premises of another, with intent to prevent or hinder his free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege so secured—

They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and if death results from the acts committed in violation of this section or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, they shall be fined under this title or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.”

Let me guess. This was written as an anti KKK statute. I do wonder why AFAIK it has not been used against Antifa or BLM?

Why not?

They impeached Trump and are going to try him for a crime that didn’t happen.

People are this stupid? You are aware Glen Beck was running ads telling Dems to vote on Wednesday in 2004?
