Senator Rand Paul @RandPaul The Senate just voted on my constitutional point of order.
45 Senators agreed that this sham of a “trial” is unconstitutional.
That is more than will be needed to acquit and to eventually end this partisan impeachment process.
This “trial” is dead on arrival in the Senate. 4:26 PM · Jan 26, 2021·Twitter for iPhone
The more time they take on this sham the less damage they can do with other matters
Trump is laughing at them, he is living rent free in their heads
Yeah, they should bring up any dem crimes, that will infuriate them.
Its just a good opportunity for Trump’s legal team to get a bunch of declass in front of the public.
Bingo!
Because they think they can further embarrass Trump and his supporters through all the media outlets this provides.
Congress is once again usurping power, this time from the Supine Court, or not so Supreme Court. They really can’t decide the Constitutionality of what they are doing.

For anyone who thought the two Georgia seats would have made ANY difference in this session of the Senate, I hope the scales have fallen from your eyes. There are now 5 Republican Senators on record as bowing to the Democrats. There are probably another 15 who are wobbly. The RINO rot is deep and wide.
Yep, if they thought they could get away with it l bet 30 R Senators would side with the rats. Maybe more.
The way he is acting Mittens seems fine being a one termer.
Pedophilia enabling follows around GOP candidate for the U.S. Senate Ben Sasse,
Aug 27, 2014
“… Ben Sasse, already struck by allegations that he helped cover up the sexual abuse of underage male pages while tutoring and proctoring the House Page Program in the late 1990s, is now faced with another brush with pederasty and pedophilia as a result of the conviction of the former chief of cyber-security for the Department of Health and Human Services. … Sasse was the chief of staff for Nebraska GOP U.S. Representative Jeff Fortenberry when Loskarn also worked in the House. Sasse… served as the assistant secretary for planning and evaluation at the Department of Health and Human Services from January 2008 to January 2009. Sasse’s oversight of HHS programs overlapped for one year with DeFoggi’s work within the office of the assistant secretary for administration. The two offices, planning/evaluation and administration worked closely with one another, a fact that places Sasse, once again, in a job during a major case involving pedophilia.”
“Omaha, of course, is infamous for the so-called “Franklin cover-up,” the use of the Franklin Credit Union in the 1980s by a top GOP official named Lawrence King to launder money used for the trafficking of children, including orphans from Boy’s Town, for purposes of sexual molestation. The scandal involved the Reagan and Bush White Houses and was aggressively investigated in front-page stories by The WashingtonTimes.”
The fact some GOPe types continue to stab Trump in the back shows the necessity of moving forward with the establishment of the Patriot Party.
God Bless Rand Paul!!!!
We need to let him know how much we appreciate him at least standing up for the President at this point.
1000+
The RINO Squad!!!
-Trump should expose the election fraud.-
You are right. The defense should take two to three weeks to point at what happened in 2020 election. In detail. The world would watch. And it will be a comedy of watching the VP trying to corner the defense when she doesn’t have the power to determine what they presents.
It would have made a major difference. The Senate majority party decides which bills to bring to the floor and the Senate rules...which include the filibuster requirement of 60 votes to bring a bill to the floor.
Now, the democrat majority can, if they convince 50 Senators (plus the VP) to vote for it, change the rules and get rid of the filibuster and 60 vote requirement for cloture. This would allow every bill to be passed with 50 votes plus VP.
So, yes, it would have made a huge difference if the Dems extort their two holdouts who say they won’t vote to change the rules...which is quite likely.
I wonder if the Fools in the GOPe know how close they are to having their party slip into extinction. I suspect not
I know you mean well but you are in denial if you think a slim GOP majority in the Senate would do anything to oppose Biden’s agenda.
I doubt Portman would do so.
The one you missed is Toomey of Pennsylvania...
