Well, I can only speak for myself Bob but the statin Crestore has probably saved my life many times over. I can feel a big difference with heart exertion and chest pain. I had bad joint pain with Lipitore. Switching to Crestore greatly reduced that. When I start to get joint pain I skip a day or two.
The science has not changed, just the politics.
I couldn’t get HCQ to save my life. Few Americans could. That’s why so many died. As President Trump said, HCQ could have been a game changer in fighting the WuFlu.
The Lancet, New England Journal of Medicine, an another medical journal (JAMA?), and the AMA chose political correctness over medical correctness, just to get a chance at forcing Trump out of office.

Understand, but it sounds like Crestor was used to treat your particular medical condition that was affecting your life in a negative way, and I’m glad it worked for you.
My wording was careful, my wife was put on it at age 40 with nothing but an LDL level her doctor didn’t like. By age 50, she had cataracts in both eyes and diabetes (both recently confirmed as side effects). Considering that there is no diabetes history in her family and no one in her family had cataracts before age 70, I’d say widespread prescribing of Statins may not be such a great idea.

It seems to me that there have been relatively few cases of adverse effects from the vaccine. However in this time of censorship, one can not always rely on reports and the lack of reports. Personally, I’m on the fence about the vaccine. I do have HCQ on hand, but not the full cocktail of products.
I consider masks to be ineffective and more political than medical. I put on my mask for the security cameras as I enter the grocery store, and take it off in the store.

I think you are probably right. However I don’t trust the Lancet. They published one of the studies that killed off the use of HCQ. I went to their website sometime back, and their article titles were more about fighting racism and black lives matter than about medicine.

If you do not need it, why spend the money and the hassle?
Yeah, I worried about side effects of removing good cholesterol with statins. I had memory problems when first put on them years ago then started talking COQ-10 which mostly eliminated it. I’m hoping the COQ-10 also addresses other reduction-of-good-cholesterol issues.
