Poor guy’s route took him to the wrong side of the Bell Curve.
NYC seems to have regressed back to the dark pre-Giuliani days, when daytime assaults in Manhattan were common. When I was last in Chinatown in 2018 the streets were bustling at midday, even on weekdays, and this type of incident wouldn’t have happened. It must now seem like a post-apocalyptic ghost town. I’ll never go back.
Wrong Side of the Bell Curve would be a great name for a song.
